Three or four years ago, I was using a 740, iPad mini, and Android phone all connected to the Stratux's WiFi network in the cockpit. I would create a flight plan on the iPad, and try to share it with the others. Nothing happened - no pop-ups on the 740 or phone. I could create a plan on either of the other devices, share it, and it all worked as expected, even the iPad received it. I finally bought an Android tablet and gave the iPad to the grandkids. It all works as it should now and has ever since. I have not found that Apple devices play nicely with anyone else. YMMV.

It sounds like this might be something unique to iOS devices, about which I know nothing.  Maybe there's some kind of app permissions setting that needs to be adjusted somewhere, but that's just a wild guess on my part.

Brolin is an iFly employee with iOS experience who monitors these forums and he may pop in with suggestions.  If you don't get an answer from someone in a day or two, perhaps a call to customer service would be in order.

I have been summoned! There's a lot of moving pieces - iOS 14 has to be allowed to use local area networks - look there first.

Brolin and team have been awesome with the troubleshooting. Frankly a breath of fresh air compared with some other vendors I deal with.

The app does have access to the local network in iOS.  There are some error messages between the application and the network stack on both iPads.  Good news is that it is consistant on an existing device and a new one out of a box.  Will make the troubleshooting a bit easier.
