Edit: Can't run the program to check version but I see the iFly.exe Properties show 1.0.0.0 so that is likely the issue.

On my Win 7 PC. NO updates this year nothing installed since my last iFly session.

Haven't used it in a couple of weeks but today I had something I wanted to check. Program starts, get a very brief black screen, then white and nothing...

Tried running the Setup program again, but same results. Of course there was a reboot or two during my attempts.

Don't know where to look next?

Maybe you should download the latest version and see if that helps:

you might want to run chkdsk first.

I'm seeing the same thing.

Tries to launch with momentary black scree with a red X in the center. However, works OK on my windows laptop.

The message on my PC is: "The drive or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select anotjher." And when I click OK to select another I don't get that oppertunity.

What's up??

Jim:

Got mine to work by running windows compatibility test and then installing it again.

I did get a message from Windows Defender Firewall " We have blocked some of the features of this app."

I told it to allow everything.

Everything works well now.

Now if I can only find a way to print the maps with my route on it.

John
