Excellent idea, Brolin.  (Not that I'm likely to plan a flight in advance with VOR checkpoints any more. But it would be easy enough to add them to a flight plan while en route if GPS failed.)

Creating radial/distance waypoints has value beyond VOR and if it is done it should be able to be used with any waypoint, just like our in-panel GPS boxes do. First time I came across this capability in an EFB app was years ago. One of the first things I did with it was to mirror a text ODP from an airport with a heading from the airport to join a course to join a...

This is reminding me of the old Apollo GPS I first had when I bought my 150 - it just read out lat/longs!

But as an aside, the best way I can tell you to do this is to add the VORs to your flight plan - for instance if you were flying from McKinney to Lubbock and wanted to intercept radials...

TKI FUZ MQP ABI LBB - if you're looking to make any kind of approach via radial you can rubber band the flight plan.

That is what I did, but it does not address the original post and what I asked about. That did give a pretty close approximate to what I needed, but it would have been nicer (like FF did) to just input those 2 radials from the 2 VORs and have iFly calaculate the intercept.

Hate to be sceptical here but I've repeatedly requested a way to fly a radial over the years since I replaced my Lowrance 2000C with an iFly700. But heh - I'd still love to see it happen.
