Cobra, I think this is the first time you've made a post (that I can remember) where I disagree with your conclusion. :)   I could be thinking of different symptoms, so I could be wrong here.

The issues as end of last year had to do with our "build machine"... we swapped to a new machine, but forgot to transfer the license for one component - which made it build in 2-week-time "trial" mode.   The issue was embedded as a warning inside 1000's of lines of text, and so we missed it.   Once we figured out the cause, we just installed the license on that new build machine, and all was well again.    This issue only impact iFly GPS version 11, for those initial production builds.   Unless someone is installing a previous production build of version 11 (which isn't available on the PlayStore or anywhere), this shouldn't be the issue here.

Thanks for the clarification--clearly, I misunderstood the situation.

I do remember some v10 users having trouble with data downloads, several weeks ago which I think were resolved with an upgrade to v11.  In this case, the user is unable to step up to v11, so that's not an option.

Brian,

I'm trying to figure out if I need to troubleshoot or if that would be no use.  I think I'm hearing that I cannot update to version 11 because my OS is out of date and my tablet doesn't offer me an update.  I thought I could stay with iFly version 10 and keep getting database updates?  Did you sunset version 10 support?  Is there another reason why it won't talk to your servers?

Thanks,
Jayson

Jayson, thank you for persisting here.  I just now tested version 10, and am getting the same issue!... So I should be able to debug this and make a fix before mid-week.

Since hardly anyone is using version 10, we haven't run this in-office test.   As it turns out, it is really broken just as you have said.  I'm sorry for not testing this sooner.  I'll post back when we have an update or a fix made.

Awesome, thanks Brian.  Understand its getting long in the tooth, but it works fine and I already have the mounts so I'll keep using it while I can.
