Feedback:  I turned on Terrain Alerts yesterday before my flight and got through two 74+nm legs without any issues.   Yea!  So, I will continue to leave it on until/unless something starts acting odd.

One thing, though:  Of the two landings I made, only on the second one did I hear the 500 feet alert.  No setting changes were made after we took off on the first leg.
