I'm unclear how this works in iFly.  I'd like to see, in the default iFly flight plans, where I will be upon reaching my planned altitude on the sectional as well as where, on the sectional, I should begin my descents.  They show up in the teeny "side elevation view" but that doesn't tell me a whole lot besides I'm going to avoid the airspaces.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Thanks for the inquiry.   We *do* show this on the map, but perhaps it's too subtle.   The place a black dot along the Route line right where altitude changes are to begin.  See attached screenshot.  Does this satisfy what you are looking for, or do you need something else?

I don't think I have, or would have ever noticed that.  Perhaps if the magenta line changed to a different color for climbs and descents?

Wow.  In all the  years I've been using iFly, I have never noticed that.  I do like Mikes idea of elevation change legs being a different color, for higher contrast.  Excellent that it's in there!  Thanks, Brian.

I assume those points are calculated by the plane's profile, or are they based upon a standard glideslope?  3:1?

I think they are based on your climb and descent rate you put in your aircraft profile.
