Greetings,

Sorry to hear about your issues with your device destroying your SD cards...very unusual.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab A also...so far, nothing like that has occurred and I think I have had it for at least 6-8 months and I fly weekly for work/fun also.

It could be a device-specific problem...I got mine from Verizon so if you did the same, could they trade out the device itself? 

I will be on the lookout for this...but so far, so good.

Thanks for posting and letting us all know to beware of this. I always carry a backup tablet on longer X-C's just in case something like this were to happen...

I have Tab A and use it all the time because my LG Gpad had all kinds of issues which caused a lot of wasted analysis time by myself and the IFLY staff. 

This is one of those devices caused IFLY failures. 

The TabA will overheat being on all the time if it is in the sun. It will tell you when it is too hot to charge.
