As I pointed out:
1) ALL of my devices exhibited this behavior
2) Obviously they are on the internet - how would I be posting here if they weren't?
3) ALL of the "competing" EFBs were showing current fuel prices
4) SkyVector and similar places were also showing current fuel prices as well (they are also on the internet)

The issue subsequently resolved itself after a few hours, so comparing your non-contemporary experience probably isn't helpful.

I am just interested in the explanation of what happened to iFly during that period.
It was clearly not an issue on my end.

If possible, I would like iFly to monitor (or have the vendors alert) all downloaded items and send a message to customers, when any of them are  not performing as expected. 

These fuel prices, for example.  If we are getting these through the iFly servers, then make all the prices $00.00, $99.99, or something similarly obvious.

If it's the weather, instead of the regular format, state that the servers are down.
