Probably because there's a relatively small number of iDealie models, so they're easy to decode. For Android, there are jillions of different devices out there, and for Windows, it's even more difficult.

I have a 740b and three Androids. They are described under registered devices as:

Unknown Device (ZZ18050866)

Android Device (a91ca46e029860bc)

Android Device (H6NPFP0294234PDE)

Android Device (ce0717144db38048e)

After searching deep into the workings of my phone, I found the last device description on the list above on the "About Phone" page under "Service provider SW ver." I found on the "About Tablet" page that H6NPFP0294234PDE is the serial number of my Asus tablet. I can't find the device number of the last Android device on the "About Tablet" page, but by default it has to be the Samsung tablet. The one device that is not Android is the 740b, which interestingly is listed as "Unknown Device".

Robert Cartwright in the post above says his iFly is described as iFly740b. I wonder why my 740b is listed as "Unknown Device"?

Hope this helps anybody out there trying to identify their devices.
