I am running Vr. 6.0.8b(debug) and have done 6 intrument approaches using geo-referenced plates. The approaches worked OK, but at other times the system re-booted without warning. Not sure whether it is a power issue or s/w.

Second problem was the plated kept rotatiting to "North Up" when I missed the "Follow Plane" button. Very disconcerting during a low approach! Please move the North Up button farther away.

I got this version from Walter but don't have the correct protocols for Beta test. Please advise.

FYI: I admit that I am a fumble-fingered user, but there must be others out there like me

Henry, well noted on the button location. Regarding the reboots, this sounds like a power problem. Can you make sure the plug is secure int he cig lighter and in the iFly? Also gently tug the cable in different directions to see if the wire is perhaps broken.

Thanks,
Walter

Henry,

Try moving the plug where it connects to the iFly. I have a similar problem and I THINK I may have isolated it there. Still checking on it though.
