The "new" fuel price source is not working.

The fuel price noted in airport information for KAJO  shows the the price is 34 days old.

Back to the drawing board???

It's "working", but apparently it's gonna have its own quirks.  Tapping around my area (Houston), I see ages of 4, 5, 6, 27, 27, 27, 27, 28, 31, and 32 days old.

So some data is pretty fresh, and some is pretty stale, but it's not ALL stale.

Just after updating my iPad with the latest data base, I curiously checked local fuel prices. Again, my home airport doesn't have price shown, and when compared to Airnav, some of the local prices are off by more than $2.00. I won't be using this feature until it's fixed! And, I've relied on it for SO many years.

guess I should have checked here first.  I just turned in a error report last night on fuel prices.  KMZZ is showing 4.25 and is actually 5.15, I called before I flew up to refuel. 7I2 showing 5.08 is 5.65.  In November on a long cross country (glad I keep an hour reserve), iFly was showing 18L have fuel and a price on fuel.  Landed,no fuel. as I said I had an hour reserve, so went to and alternate.

Kent,

I'm sorry I missed you at my home field, KMZZ, last week!

Since KMZZ is one that is WAY outdated on the new iFlightPlanner.aopa.org supplier (February 22 - $4.25) and fairly outdated on GlobalAir (March 11 - $5.15) and AirNav (March 17 - $5.15), I will inquire at the FBO to see if they manually update each site or if there is some automated process that is supposed to work.

Incidentally, I see that the airport's website currently shows the same outdated data as iFlightPlanner, so I suspect there is a connection there somehow.

Mark
